Before you set sail on your Princess Cruises ship, it's important you know everything you need to do before you depart. Below we have pulled together some useful information for you to read ahead of your trip to ensure you have a stress-free cruise holiday.
Princess MedallionClass offers a personalised experience onboard their ships where guests have a wearable medallion that allows for contactless boarding, keyless cabin entry, locating loved ones onboard and much much more. To get the most out of MedallionClass you will need to download the all-in-one app that interacts with your Medallion to put the MedallionClass digital experiences at your fingertips. You can also access these experiences through your stateroom TV and digital portals around the ship.
Not only will you need access to the MedallionClass App before your cruise but you will also need to register and log in to your cruise personaliser on the Princess Cruises website. Here you'll be able to:
- Book shore excursions
- Book flights and transfers
- Make reservations for the Lotus Spa
- Register for Youth and teen centres
- Purchase an add-on package (like beverage) if your booking doesn't include it

You may want to dine at a particular time every night and even book a table in one of the speciality restaurants Princess Cruises has to offer. This can all be done through the MedallionClass app where you can specify your dining preferences as well as make reservations for the main dining rooms and speciality restaurants.
In order to complete the check-in process, you need to log in to the MedallionClass app to complete a number of steps including filling in your personal information, taking your security photo, adding emergency information and much more.
Passports are required for travel. Please check that your passport has at least 6 months validity from the return date of your trip. Proof of residency will be required for non UK Passport Holders.
