Cancellation Policy

Please read our cancellation policy in full below. It's important you do so as once you book a cruise with us, you will be required to pay cancellation fees if you need to cancel your cruise for any reason, so please take the time to read them prior to booking.

1. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

1.1 Your cruise line deposit & Seascanner.co.uk booking fee/deposit are non-refundable. 

1.2 If you cancel your booking prior to paying your balance in full, your cruise line deposit and Seascanner.co.uk booking fee/deposit will be retained as cancellation charges. Please note that if you have paid your balance in full, your cancellation charges will increase as set out by your Cruise Operator/Supplier in their terms & conditions.

1.3 Cancellations incur a Seascanner.co.uk fee of £50 per person.

1.4 These charges are made in addition to any charge made by your Cruise Operator/Supplier which is detailed in their terms & conditions.

1.5 Cancellations can only be processed with written or email authorisation from the lead passenger/contact travelling. If your booking is cancelled Seascanner.co.uk will withdraw any discount given.

1.6 Please retain your Seascanner.co.uk booking confirmation, as you will need it if your travel arrangements are protected under a scheme of financial protection and you need to make a claim.

1.7 Any applicable refunds may take a number of weeks to process and are subject to the relevant cruise line providing a refund to Seascanner.co.uk.

1.8 'Book your cruise with just a £1pp deposit!* The £1pp deposit promotion from Seascanner is only valid on new P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises bookings made between 5 pm on the 20th September 2024 and 11:59 pm on the 24th September 2024 and new MSC Cruises bookings made between 5 pm on the 20th September 2024 and 11:59 pm on the 26th September 2024 on applicable MSC Cruises, P&O Cruises & Princess Cruises 2025 and 2026 sailings. Any full world cruise, sector/segment of a world cruise or MSC Grand Voyage will also be excluded from this promotion. The £1pp deposit promotion has already been applied to all applicable cruises and you can view the deposit amount when you pay for your cruise. The offer is valid on cruises from 1 to 14 nights. Any full world cruise, sector/segment of a world cruise or MSC Grand Voyage will also be excluded from this promotion. The £1pp deposit promotion has already been applied to all applicable cruises and you can view the deposit amount when you pay for your cruise. 1.24 Terms & Conditions: The £49pp deposit promotion from Seascanner is only valid on new P&O Cruises bookings made between 8th May 2025 and 12th May 2025 on applicable 1-14 night sailings departing before 27 March 2027. The £49 per person deposit promotion applies to eligible cruises and is automatically reflected in the deposit amount at checkout. This promotion does not apply to full world cruises or segments of a world cruise, cruises of 15 nights or longer, bookings where the full balance is due, or any P&O Cruises sailings after 27th March 2027. For bookings excluded from this promotion, we will contact you to collect the full deposit payment. No rebates will be offered for non-eligible cruises. We reserve the right to withdraw this promotion at any time without notice. If you wish to cancel a cruise booked under our £49pp deposit promotion, you will be liable for the full cancellation charges from the cruise line that you have booked with. Please contact us to confirm the specific charges for your booking if you wish to cancel. Please note that if you cancel your booking before paying the full standard cruise line deposit, you will still be liable to pay the remaining balance of that deposit. (Illustrative example): For a P&O Cruises booking totaling £3,000 based on two people sharing, the standard P&O Cruises deposit is 15%, or £450 (£225 per person). If you pay the Seascanner promotional deposit of £98 (£49 per person), you will be required to pay the remaining deposit balance of £352 (£176 per person). By booking a cruise under the £49pp deposit promotion, you are agreeing to this amount being processed through the same debit or credit card used for the £49pp deposit payment. Final payment is due 120 days before departure. Offer ends 12th May 2025.

1.25 'Book your P&O cruise with just a 5% deposit! The 5% deposit promotion from Seascanner is only valid on new P&O Cruises bookings made between 4th June 2025 and 10th June 2025 on applicable 1-14 night sailings. The 5% deposit promotion applies to eligible cruises and is automatically reflected in the deposit amount at checkout. This promotion does not apply to full world cruises or segments of a world cruise, cruises of 15 nights or longer, bookings where the full balance is due. For bookings excluded from this promotion, we will contact you to collect the full deposit payment. No rebates will be offered for non-eligible cruises. We reserve the right to withdraw this promotion at any time without notice. If you wish to cancel a cruise booked under our 5% deposit promotion, you will be liable for the full cancellation charges from the cruise line that you have booked with. Please contact us to confirm the specific charges for your booking if you wish to cancel. Please note that if you cancel your booking before paying the full standard cruise line deposit, you will still be liable to pay the remaining balance of that deposit. (Illustrative example): For a P&O Cruises booking totaling £3,000 based on two people sharing, the standard P&O Cruises deposit is 10%, or £300 (£150 per person). If you pay the Seascanner promotional deposit of 5%, (£150 per cabin or (£75 per person), you will be required to pay the remaining deposit balance of £150 (£75 per person). By booking a cruise under the 5% deposit promotion, you are agreeing to this amount being processed through the same debit or credit card used for the 5% deposit payment. Final payment is due 120 days before departure. Offer ends 10th June 2025.

2. CANCEL & REBOOKING TO A DIFFERENT CRUISE WITH THE SAME CRUISE LINE

2.1 If you wish to transfer to a new cruise AND it is possible, subject to the terms and conditions of the Cruise Operator/Supplier, the Cruise Operator/Supplier will charge an admin fee.

2.2 In addition to this fee, Seascanner.co.uk will charge an admin fee of £25 per person (or minimum £50 per cabin). 

3. AMENDING AN EXISTING BOOKING

3.1 If you have booked a cruise with us and need to make an amendment e.g. cabin upgrade, drinks package etc. please do not make another booking on our website and instead contact us to amend your existing booking. Any additional booking made is subject to standard terms and conditions and will incur the charges laid out above in the event of cancellation.
