Before you travel with Cunard

Before you set sail on your Cunard ship, it's important you know everything you need to do before you depart. Below we have pulled together some useful information for you to read ahead of your trip to ensure you have a stress-free cruise holiday.

Cunard has a number of health and safety measures that they have put in place to keep you and your party safe whilst travelling onboard one of their ships so it's worth learning about these so you are fully prepared before you travel with them. Click here to view their latest protocols

Passports are required for travel. Please check that your passport has at least 6 months validity from the return date of your trip. Proof of residency will be required for non UK Passport Holders. There are also new passport validity requirements for travelling to any EU destinations. You can use this handy passport checker on the Gov.uk website here.

It is mandatory for all UK guests to have suitable travel insurance cover in order to cruise with Cunard. Click here to find out more about Cunard's travel insurance requirements. A few days before you travel with Cunard you will need to complete a health declaration form in order to board your ship. This can be done on your My Cunard account between one and three days before your holiday. Click here to log in to your my cruise account today

If you like to get organised then you might be interested in booking your shore excursions in advance. Cunard offers excursions, trips and tours to suit every age, ability, and wallet. Shore excursions are available to book through My Cunard from one year before your departure date.

Pre-embarkation testing varies by cruise line. Please make sure you check Cunard's website for the latest testing requirements for your cruise here so there are no delays when you come to board your ship.

If you have booked the 'Cunard Fare with Southampton Parking', your booking includes complimentary car parking in Southampton.

In order to secure your space please contact Cruise & Passenger Services Ltd on 0345 071 3939 or via www.cruiseparking.co.uk, you will need to have your Cunard reference number ready. Bookings can be made 72 hours after making your cruise booking, and must be made a minimum of 10 days prior to your departure date, failure to do so will result in the complimentary space being forfeited.

If you have booked the 'Cunard Fare with Southampton Coach Travel', your booking includes complimentary return coach transfers from selected UK departure points to and from your Southampton cruise terminal.

In order to book your seats please contact Cruise Connect on 0344 338 8690, please have you Cunard reference number ready. Coach bookings can be made 48 hours after your cruise booking, and must be made a minimum of 35 days prior to your departure date. All seats and departure points are subject to availability and applies to all passengers within a cabin.

Booking cruise transfers is optional, but if you prefer not to drive to your cruise departure port, or if driving is not an option, opting for a cruise transfer can offer various benefits and conveniences. This service takes you from a specific location, like your home, airport, hotel, train station, or another designated meeting point, directly to the cruise port where your ship is docked, or vice versa.
