We understand that changes to your travel plans can be frustrating. This section is here to help, offering clear answers so you can make the best choice for your next cruise.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the change to your scheduled cruise. Due to operational reasons affecting MSC Poesia, MSC Cruises has had to cancel the sailings scheduled between 6th and 13th February 2026 from Southampton/London, United Kingdom. We’re here to help you with next steps and alternative options.

You will need to contact us by emailing customersupport@seascanner.co.uk, with your Seascanner booking reference, to let us know which new cruise you would like to book.

As a gesture of goodwill, MSC Cruises is offering a Future Cruise Credit equal to 50% of the fare paid for your cancelled sailing. This credit will be applied to your new cruise first and any remaining difference from your original payment will then be refunded to you.

If the full balance for your new cruise is due, we’ll confirm whether there is any additional amount to pay or any refund due. If the full balance is not yet due, you can choose to pay the balance in full now or receive a refund of any applicable amount. If your new cruise requires an additional balance, we will contact you.

If your new cruise costs more than your original booking, we’ll let you know the difference to pay. If it’s less, we’ll arrange a refund for the difference. Our team will calculate the amount for you and guide you through the process to make it simple and stress-free.

As part of this process, the MSC Cruises Future Cruise Credit, equal to 50% of the fare paid for your cancelled sailing, will be applied to your new cruise first. Your original cruise payment will then be considered to determine any remaining balance to pay or refund due.

We understand that you may prefer to request a refund. Please contact customersupport@seascanner.co.uk with your Seascanner booking reference, and we will process a full refund of the fare paid.

Proven out-of-pocket expenses directly related to the cancelled cruise, including flights, can be reimbursed. Please send your proof of purchase to customersupport@seascanner.co.uk, along with your Seascanner booking reference, and we will assist you with the reimbursement process.
