Eco-Friendly Cruises

The cruise industry has made giant leaps over the past decade to reduce its environmental impact. Recycling, incinerating and waste processing are now the norm, not the exception. Green tech is also being installed on new ships and retrofitted on older ones. Some cruise ships, for example, have environmentally sustainable hybrid technology that lowers their fuel consumption by 20 per cent, while the MSC Virtuosa is one of the most environmentally friendly at sea.
