Before I Book

Frequently asked questions to put you at ease before booking your cruise.

We are a member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) under the no. 78024. Being ABTA bonded means that your money is safe. In the unlikely event of a financial collapse of any cruise line, you will be able to get your money back if you are yet to sail or other arrangements will be made by ABTA so that you can continue with the planned trip. If you are already on a trip, you will be able to continue as originally planned without a worry in the world. Being ABTA bonded means that you will never be stranded abroad in the event of financial collapse whilst you are on holiday.

ATOL licence- we are member of ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's License) no. 3385. When you buy an ATOL protected flight or, flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

Seascanner.co.uk is a trading name of www.CRUISE.co.uk so your ABTA and ATOL certificates will have the name www.CRUISE.co.uk on them.

You cannot book a cruise with us over the phone as Seascanner is an online cruise specialist. We’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you to book your cruise online. Hopefully you’ll agree, but if you think we can improve, we'd love to hear your feedback.

It is currently not possible to book multiple cabins at the same time on our website. If you are travelling with friends or family, the best way to get you all booked is to place multiple bookings with us. To do this, you would simply find the cruise you want to sail on and place multiple bookings on that cruise. After you have completed all of your bookings, you can contact us here to request all of your bookings to be linked together.

To improve this process, we are currently working on a solution which will allow you to book multiple cabins at the same time with us. Watch this space!

You must make us aware of any medical or mobility needs before you book. This is because we need to ensure that the cruise line are aware and that you receive the appropriate cabin based on your individual needs. You can make us aware by clicking here to fill out our Mobility or Medical Needs form.

You must make us aware that you will be bringing a wheelchair or mobility scooter onboard before you book. This is because we need to ensure that the cruise line are aware and that you receive the appropriate cabin and assistance based on your individual needs. You can make us aware by clicking here to fill out our Mobility or Medical Needs form.

You can select your preferred dining time in the ‘Customisation’ stage of our booking process. Please note that this is on a request only basis and whilst the cruise line will do everything they can to accommodate your preferences, they can not guarantee you will be allocated your preferred dining time.

If you are travelling with family or friends and would like us to link your bookings together for dining, please let us know by submitting the Manage My Trip form and we will request this for you.

If you are receiving marketing emails from us, this is because you have subscribed to receive them. If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us, please email unsubscribe@seascanner.co.uk with your request to be unsubscribed from receiving our marketing emails.
